Customs Area Controller, Tin Can 2, Area Command (formerly Lilipond) has reiterated that the management team at the Command are very strategic, proactive and professional in all aspects of Customs operations at the Command.

Speaking with Maritime Nigeria in his office, the CAC disclosed that team work and renewed vigour in addition to trainings carried out by the command for its officers have changed the Command from what it used to be

In his words “Tin Can 2 is a new Command that is changing the face of Customs operations in Zone “A”.  We have put facilities and structures in place to ensure that importers doing business with us will have no choice but always come back to the Command. This is because of the unequalled, very efficient services we offer”

The CAC also thanked the Comptroller General of Customs for his support and guidance which has uplifted the revenue profile of the Command to enviable height.

“The CG has been very supportive. He has given us tools to work with and created an enabling standard. Officers here have become professional in their duties…in fact other commands are emulating our procedures’ the CAC said.
