He thanked the Area Controllers, officers and men of the Service for their dedication and commitment to duty as well as invaluable contribution to the successes recorded in the Zone during his tenure as coordinator Zone A.

Not forgetting the media, Edike expressed appreciation to the maritime media for their contributions through their reports, information provided and suggestions made. All these, he said, helped to put officers on their toes and gingered them to do more.

In his words  “I wish to thank you all  for the invaluable support and corporation you gave me during my tenure as an Area controller and as ACG/Zonal Coordinator Zone A. kindly extend same, in fact, in greater measure, to ACG Monday Abueh who has taken over as ACG Zone “A”.

ACG Edike as Area Controller served in PTML (6 months), TCIP (7 months), MMIA (
16 months) and Apapa (26 months) A total sum of N0.945 Trillion was what he generated within that period.

As ACG Zone A, November 2015 to December 2016, a total sum of N0.662 Trillion was generated in the Zone under his watch/supervision.

Several Customs Area Controllers in the Zone were at Harvey road to wish Edike Success as he goes to Customs National Headquarters, Abuja as ACG Human Resource Development.

ACG Monday Abueh, Zonal Coordinator Zone A of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has assumed duty. He promised to sustain the momentum in the Zone, adding that “There will be no room for Revenue Evasion”
