Dr. Bashir Yusuf Jamoh, DG NIMASA

The conviviality and camaraderie spirit amongst managent and staff of NIMASA was rekindled when Dr. Bashir Jamoh took over leadership of the Agency from Dr. Dakuku Peterside at the board room of the Agency recently.

In separate farewell (prepared) speeches, title after title of some NIMASA staff were revealed.

While Mr. Victor Ike Onuzuruike, Director internal audit of the Agency was hailed as “chairman”, others took titles of “baba” “mama” etc

Engr. Rotimi Fashakin, out gone ED Operations, was hailed as Mr. grammar.

Coincidentally, even as Fashakin takes his exit, it is very likely that the grammar will continue.

The Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Service, Engr, Barrister Victor Ochei served this notice when he said:

“I am not a maritime expert but i follow maritime issues and developments. I was jolted when malam Ibrahim Jibril talked about intricacies and complexities of NIMASA. He encapsulated….”

He was interrupted by shouts of hmmmm as outbursts of laughter shook the boardroom.

Has Fashakin and Ochei exchanged baton of doses of grammar at NIMASA?

Maritime Nigeria is wishing the new management fare weather as they set forth at dawn of a new era in NIMASA.

May the unity, fun, laughter and grammar never cease!
