NSC Rev Port Operations
Provides more buses for Port workers
Even as Lagos enters the second week of its economic and social lockdown, the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, NSC, has responded to the need of freight forwarders by adding Sango-Ota to the five routes currently operated by the Council’s free transport service to and from the ports.
In a statement signed by Rakiya Zubairu,
Deputy Director
Public Relations of the Council said the Council is mindful of the importance of social distancing and has made it mandatory on this free bus service.
Takiya said terminals operators are also constantly reminded to put in place containment and preventive measures at their respective terminals.
Recalled that last week, the Nigerian Shippers Council initiated return bus services to convey freightforwarders who have business at the ports to enhance port services as covid19 grounds economic activities globally.
