Nigerian Ports Deploy Managers To Achieve Greater Efficiency

As Onne, Calabar, Lagos Port Complex, others Get New Managers

Mr. Mohammed Bello-Koko Ag. Managing Director, NPA

In Line with is his commitment to reinventing Nigerian Ports and making them more efficient and attractive, the Ag. Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Mr. Mohammed Bello Koko has effected some deployments within his management cadre to bring about the desired results.

To drive the expected outcomes and ensure greater operational efficiency and become the Maritime hub in Africa, the Managing Director has approved the appointment of three new Port mangers.

Mr. Yitnoe Stanley Magaji who was Technical Assistant Marine and Operations to Managing Director has been deployed to Port Onne as Port Manager while  while Buba Jibril former Traffic Manager, Lagos Port Complex, LPC moves to Tin Can Island Port as Port Manager.

In the same vein, Ovbude Nelson Uwaifo, Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty, is now Port Manager Calabar Port.

The erstwhile Port Manager Tin Can Island Port Engr. Yunusa Ibrahim Anji moves to corporate headquarters as Assistant General Manager Port Engineering while Dantsoho M. Abubakar former Port Manager, Onne now becomes Technical Assistant to Managing Director, Special Duties.

Other appointments as announced in a statement indicate that  Okaga Charles Bamidele
Principal Manager, Traffic has becomes Technical Assistant, Marine and Operations to the Managing Director while Leoso Akintunde Oladipo, Principal Manager Trafffic LPC assumes duty as Traffic Manager Lagos Port Complex.

Mr. Aliyu Abubakar, who was Principal Manager (Traffic),  Kirikiri Lighter Terminal, takes over as Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty, Lekki.
