AFCON 2022: Fascination Clash of The Eagles

Supper Eagles Set to Cage The Bald Eagles Of Tunisia

As the Super Eagles of Nigeria plan to cage the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia this weekend, having zoomed into  the round of sixteen and looking ahead to the clash with Tunisia on Sunday, Eguavoen revealed that his team would play with the same passion and style they have shown in the tournament.

“Going into the round of 16, same approach, same system, same aggression, and we are going to train more on penalties,” Eguavoen said at his post-match press conference after Nigeria defeated Guinea-Bissau.

Nigeria goes into the match against Tunisia as the favourite side based on  their current form in the tournament.

The Super Eagles are the first side to win all three group games at the Africa Cup of Nations after they beat Guinea-Bissau 2-0, Sudan 3-1 and Egypt 1-0.

The match against the Tunisians promises to be exciting as there is no second chance at the tournament, its a winner takes encounter.
