NNPP Founder Express Shock Over Court judgement

Charge The People Of Kano To Maintain Peace

The Founder of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has said he is shocked by an Abuja court ruling today against the the governor of kano state Abbah Yusuf of the NEW NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY,  NNPP.

In a statement he personally signed, the NNPP chief decried the court ruling noting that “I do know that it is only the new NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY and it’s members can determine who is a member of the party or not. I also know that a party and its members can bring into the party and grant such a person a waiver to go into election and represent the party in an election”.

Dismayed by the judgement, the founder of the Party further noted that “I also know and believe that it is only someone who contested nomination under NNPP that can challenge the membership of the party in an election. To the contrary no other person has the locus standi to raise objection”.

“The NNPP is convinced that justice will not only be done but seen to have been done. Our hope is alive ahead of the supreme Court judgement in due time” Aniebonam said.

Addressing members of the NNPP and all Nigerian in Kano, the founder said “I hereby encourage all members of our great party and indeed the indigenes of kano in particular to keep faith with final decision of God under this avoidable circumstances”.

Nigerians are keenly watching and following developments as the court case remains undecided.
