Captain Warredi Enisuoh, popularly referred to as double captain owing to his proficiency in the skies and oceans of the world; was over the weekend (December 7, 2024) honoured with a Honourary Doctorate Degree by the Highstone University in Texas, United States of America, USA just as Maritime Nigeria, a renowned Maritime Media firm based in Lagos, Nigeria also crowned Enisuoh as a Distinguished Maritime Personality, DMP, at the event held in Asaba, the Delta State capital, South South Nigeria.

Among numerous qualities and proficiencies of Capt. Dr. Warredi Enisuoh, dmp, listed by the Highstone University, the institution said, “Currently Captain Enisuoh serves as the Executive Director-Operations and Technical Services at Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSL, where he oversees critical operations and technical strategies aimed at securing Nigeria’s oil and gas infrastructure”

The University noted that “His wealth of knowledge and leadership in maritime and aviation operations makes him a vital figure in ensuring the success of Tantita Security’s mission to protect the nation’s most valuable resources”

Dr. Warredi Enisuoh with his double plaques of honour!

“Captain Warredi Enisuoh’s commitment to excellence, his dedication to the advancement of maritime and aviation safety and his passion for developing innovative security strategies makes him a leading authority in the fields of Aviation, Maritime and Security operations” the Highstone University said

For the Maritime Nigeria, group, Dr. Warredi is a man of immense capabilities, abilities and qualifications. From Aviation to Shipping, from Astrology to Security issues, Captain Enisuoh’s voice and expertise is widely sought after  by governments and organizations  globally.

Speaking on Warredi’s investiture as a Distinguished Maritime Personality, DMP, the MD/CEO of Maritime Nigeria, Mr. Kelvin Kagbare said “Aircraft and Ships expert Captain Warredi is a core professional in the domains of Astrology, Shipping,  Aviation  and Security”

“We at Maritime Nigeria have followed and kept tabs on his numerous exploits in these fields of knowledge central to humanity’s existence on planet for decades and  as a person, we are irrevocably convinced that he merits our coveted DMP appendage in addition to other titles he holds”

“Dr. Warredi is one of DPMs who converged for our National Discourse 2024 which had as theme “The Human Capital Component, Assets and Infrastructure for the Blue Economy”

“Much as he tried to attend, share thoughts and speak to issues alongside other distinguished guests at the event, the exigencies of work and additional demands on his person made his physical attendance impossible. When we learnt of the Highstone University Doctorate conferment, we made arrangements to be there in collaboration with the University to doubly hounour Captain Warredi”

It is on records that Captain Enisuch holds the prestigious Master Mariner Class 1 Unlimited Foreign Going License, making him a highly qualified maritime professional with the ability to command vessels of any size on international waters. He also possesses an Aircraft Pilots License and a Diploma in Aviation, further showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of complex transportation systems.

Prior to his stint at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, where he served as Director  Maritime Safety and  Shipping Development, he spent 8 years at Pacific International Lines Pte Ltd in Singapore, where he gained substantial hands-on experience in maritime operations.

His dedication to education and training led him to serve as a Lecturer, Instructor, Course Developer and Examiner at the Australian Maritime College/University of Tasmania, shaping the future of maritime professionals through his leadership and expertise.

Captain Enisuoh’s leadership extended to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), where he spent 6 years ensuring maritime safety and regulatory compliance across Australia’s vast coastlines. His aviation career also saw him work as an airline pilot for Virgin Nigeria and other airlines.

With the Federal Government assignment for Tantita to protect and ensure a halt to oil theft in Nigeria, Captain Warrendi is on the frontlines leading other committed citizens to address the economic challenges posed by crude oil theft in Nigeria and the devastating environmental threats unleashed on the Niger Delta region by oil prospecting companies and vandals.

In collaboration with concerned and committed stakeholders, Tantita has ensured crude production rise from a low 700bpd previously to a present all time high of 1.8million bpd.

Speaking on behalf of other recipients after their decoration, Dr. Warredi expressed gratitude to Highstone University for the hounour.

“This honour is a call to greater service to my country, people and humanity across continents.  It is very inspiring to know that your efforts are being noted and recognized by institutions and persons outside your immediate community; it calls for more work and greater commitment notwithstanding the challenges” Enisuoh said.
