JOURNALISTS POSTPONE CGC EVENT

“Unforeseen Developments Makes the Postponement Inevitable”-Dele Aderibigbe

Media practitioners in the Nigeria’s maritime sub-sector has announced the postponement of the scheduled award dinner, in honour of the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR.

The CGC, following an unprecedented achievements in trade facilitation, enviable interagency collaborators, capped by a breathtaking revenue generation, was scheduled for honour on Thursday 16 January 2024 , by the highly impressed media practitioners.

However, a statement made available by the Chairman, Organising Committee, Dele Aderibigbe said the postponement was compelled by circumstances beyond the control of the organisers.

The statement, while stressing that a new date would soon be announced, deeply regrets any inconvenience the unexpected postponement must have cause invited guests .
