Maritime Police Boss Celebrate Workers

As Worker Day is Marked Globally 

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Maritime Police Command, FHQ Annex, Obalende, Lagos, AIG Musa Yusuf Garba, psc(+), IIPS, PSPS, extends heartfelt greetings to all dockworkers, seafarers, port staff, and stakeholders in Nigeria’s maritime industry on the occasion of International Workers’ Day.

‘The maritime sector remains the lifeblood of our nation’s commerce, and the daily sacrifices made at our ports and along our waterways form the very backbone of national development”

The unwavering commitment of maritime workers often  under challenging conditions is not only commendable but vital to sustaining Nigeria’s strategic position in global trade”

The AIG added that “Our dockworkers and maritime stakeholders remain the unsung heroes behind the smooth flow of trade and the safety of our ports and waterways”

“As we commemorate this significant day, we urge all maritime professionals to uphold the enduring values of integrity, and discipline which are values essential not only for professional excellence but also for building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.”

The Maritime Police Boss reassured stakeholders  that the  Maritime Police Command remains resolute in its commitment to continued partnership and collaboration, working tirelessly to foster a safe, secure, and enabling maritime environment for all stakeholders.
