Oyetola Backs MAN, MOWCA On Capacity Building

The ongoing collaboration efforts by the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, MAN and the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA), to integrate Maritime Education and Training by Institutions in the region has the full backing of the honourable minister of the Marine and Blue Economy.

The conference aimed at forging a cohesive, inclusive, seamless training and certification curricular to ensure professionalism and international standardization in the sub region is being attended by countries in the region.

Ministry sources told our reporter that:

“The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy fully supports this collaboration of MOWCA, RMU, ATRSM and Maritime Academy of Nigeria in the pursuit of Cadets development and capacity building as representatives of the Ministry were on ground and participated in the discussions held”

This further reinforces the Minister’s unwavering commitment to optimization of the Blue Economy in Nigeria.
